Most of you know I'm not Lance's biggest fan. But this isn't about Lance. It's about Fat Cyclist, a hilarious and heartfelt blogger who makes us laugh until we cry, cry until we laugh, and who has taken us all along for the ride as he and his amazing wife Susan and their beautiful children try to come to terms with Susan's advancing cancer. It's about my Dad, who has been battling his cancer for six years, through some very rough times, and yet has found the courage and determination to keep on living his life to the fullest extent possible.

It's about every person at these LiveStrong events, who come with their stories, their fighting spirit, their laughter and their warm embrace. There is anger but not bitterness. There is sadness but not wallowing. LAF people come to fight, to honor, and to look to a better future. Unity is strength. Knowledge is power. Attitude is everything.

I know times are tough, but please remember that every little bit helps. Whatever contribution you are able to make will inspire others to join in, and before you know it our goals will be reached.
