I got involved with the LIVESTRONG to honor one of my best friends, Neal Page. Neal was diagnosed in the summer of 2008 with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and lost his fight with cancer on July 6, 2009. He will be missed but never forgotten.

For those of you that did not know Neal Page you missed the opportunity to meet one of the most genuine, honest, and friendly people you can encounter. Neal and I worked together for over 10 years but he was much more than a business partner to me. Neal was a mentor, a leader, a best friend, and an inspiration.

This ride will be the first 100 mile ride I have done and while it will be a significant challenge for me personally it pales in comparison to the fight Neal and countless others battle daily.

Through the dollars and awareness that we raise, we can inspire and empower individuals, and we can make life better for the millions of people across the globe fighting cancer today.
