I'm Ready for the Challenge to Support Kim's Fight Against Breast Cancer! Please support my fundraising efforts!

I have decided to take on the Livestrong Challenge,a 100 mile bike ride, in Philadelphia, PA on August 23rd. I am taking on this challenge to support my sister-in-law, Kim. Kim is couragously battling breast cancer and kicking its butt! She was diagnosed with breast cancer on January 23, 2009, and on February 26th she had a double mastectomy, chemo and radiation will follow. Kim has had an amazing outlook and has been so positive! She is an inspiration to us all, and she has inspired me to raise as much money as I can to help the fight against cancer.

During this challenge I will be riding with Team Fat Cyclist. The team was orginally created by a slightly over weight man who's wife was battling breast cancer. His team is now the top fundraiser for this race, and the entire team's fundraising efforts are donated to breast cancer research.

The Lance Armstrong Foundation unites people to fight cancer, believing that unity is strength, knowledge is power, and attitude is everything.

Through the dollars and awareness that we raise, we can inspire and empower individuals, and we can make life better for the millions of people across the globe fighting cancer today.
