Friends and Family, first of all thanks for visiting my site to donate.

Here are two things you may or may not know about the past several years.

One is that I have gotten into riding my bike whenever I can. I even did some races and a three day, three hundred mile ride to raise money for the families of Law Enforcement Officers killed in the line of duty. Riding has become something I really enjoy.

Second, two years ago, about two days before Michael Seamus was born, I was told by my doctor that the mole he had just removed from my wrist was cancerous. Long story short, two procedures later I was told I had clear margins and no further treatment was needed. Great news, but what should have been two or three weeks totally focused on the arrival of Michael and helping Jennifer to get back on her feet became that much harder.

When I think about how lucky I am it always leads to thinking about how others have not been so lucky. Comparing my experience with what millions of others have gone through is like comparing a scraped knee to being tackled by Lawrence Taylor on Monday Night Football. I now have the opportunity to help some of the people who have not been as fortunate, and I CAN DO IT RIDING MY BIKE!!
