The Lance Armstrong Foundation unites people to fight cancer, believing that unity is strength, knowledge is power, and attitude is everything.

Most people know or have known someone who has been affected by this deadly disease and have learned that it is unrelenting, uncaring and unknowing. It takes whomever, whenever it wants.

Cancer has affected me, my family and loved ones. My mother, who had fought and won, for a short time against this miserable disease. Then she fought valiantly once more against it but... It is, by far the hardest thing as a son to watch and I will do anything in my power to help find a cure to save others from this…

Riding 100 miles in one day is a small effort towards a big cause to raise dollars and awareness. It will take courage, but nothing compared to the courage it takes to fight cancer.

Through our efforts we can inspire and empower individuals, and we can help in the effort to make life better for the millions of people across the world fighting cancer today.
