Dear Friends and Family,

I’ve never done it. I’ve been riding and racing my bike for almost 15 years and I still haven’t done it. A Century. 100 miles. I have never ridden 100 miles at one time. I’ve ridden 80 miles and a few metric centuries (62 miles) in the past. I have never had a desire to do more than that, until now.

Inspired by the friends and family who have struggled with cancer, the ones who have survived and the ones who haven't, I will be joining Team Fat Cyclist on August 23rd to ride 100 miles in the Lance Armstrong Foundation's, Livestrong Challenge.

The Lance Armstrong Foundation inspires and empowers people affected with cancer. The LAF believes that unity is strength, knowledge is power, and the that attitude is everything.
