LiveStrong Means... never, never giving up!

After my mother lost her soulmate to cancer in November 2006, I just knew I had to do something to help the fight against this terrible disease. With the growing number of people I know who have been affected by cancer, it’s easy to feel as though we are losing the battle. I ride in the LiveStrong Challenge in support of an organization that is dedicated to finding a cure. Last year, I successfully completed the grueling hilly 70-mile ride and this year I'm looking to conquer the 100 mile course. Unfortunately, we all have stories to share about cancer affecting those we love. Learning about others’ diagnoses makes one very important thing clear to me: You can never take anything for granted. Your life can change in an instant and it’s important to seize the opportunity to make a difference whenever you can.

Please make a donation to support my participation and to help advance the Lance Armstrong Foundation's mission. It will do wonders for both my morale and motivation.
