Please consider joining me or supporting me through a donation as I try to make a difference in the fight against cancer through my participation in the LIVESTRONG Challenge.

On August 23rd, I will be riding 100 miles in the rolling hills of the Philadelphia area and Montgomery County. Even though it will be in the heart of the summer heat and through some challenging climbs, it is nothing compared to what some of my friends and family members have gone through battling Cancer.

The Lance Armstrong Foundation unites people to fight cancer, believing that unity is strength, knowledge is power, and attitude is everything.

Cancer has affected me though family and loved ones. My father John, Grandmother Jean, Uncle George and good friend and fellow cyclist, Rose, have all succumbed to this deadly disease. My sister is a survivor along with several of my friends and I have seen the courage and strength that they have shown battling cancer. Through the dollars and awareness that we raise, we can inspire and empower individuals, and we can make life better for the millions of people across the globe fighting cancer today.
